This is a blog of art and economics by a Starfleet Admiral. The Angels Within, formerly somewhere i have never traveled (2007-09) is mostly a scratch pad for my thoughts on art and economics thought I wanted to make into a book, incorporating and moving beyond the works of Dutton (theartinstinct.com), Cowen (marginalrevolution.com) and Postrel, amongst many others. I’m an attorney who specializes in intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, and international commercial arbitration. I worked at the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art in 2007. My other primary interests include linguistics, Star Trek, politics, and University of Florida athletics.

I’ve lived most of my life in Orlando, FL but I have also lived in Brisbane, Australia, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and Hong Kong. All were amazing places that I encourage you to visit.

This blog’s initial mission was to discuss issues and develop discourse relating to Art Law, but more specifically, Rights and Reproductions policies in the Arts. I wanted to thoroughly explore the issues relating to Rights and Reproductions as well-developed IP policies seem to be an emerging industry standard for museums and galleries.
